Please excuse the nature of this question: upcoming tests

Hi Nurses,

I have been asked to do a few tests by my doctor: once includes a endoscopy, the other ultrasound guided aspiration, ct scan of lungs and abdomen, and if not conclusive, laparoscopic biopsy.

Can you'll please tell me for which one of these will l I lose my privacy/dignity. Can I wear my underwear during these tests ?

I have never been cut, so kind of nervous about this and also of the needles, anesthesia etc. I didn't feel comfortable asking the doctor the above questions.

As your doctor will be the one either performing the tests or referring you to a provider who will be doing the tests, these are questions you should be asking of your care team. They will have the most accurate information for your procedure(s).

Please direct these questions to your care team. I know it might be a bit uncomfortable to do so, but part of their job is to answer all of your questions and help make you as comfortable as possible. Best of luck with your procedures.
