Hello, I am a current ADN program student hoping to graduate this May! I would love to get you're advice on my resume. I worked on it using the "new RN graduate" templates, and am going to seek additional advice from my instructors. Any critique is welcome, thank you for your time!
Some of the format changed from the way I have it on Microsoft word, but unfortunately I cannot post the file here. This contains all of the information in my resume currently. (see next post)
*just a note I have not done my preceptorship yet, I want this resume to be available for recruiters coming to class before our preceptorship begins.

I will change treated patient part because back in school, we were meant to understand that doctors treat, we just monitor /took care of our patients.
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I went ahead and changed that. I really appreciate you taking the time, futurenaijaRN, to comment. I hope you have a wonderful day and keep on going on!

Under your clinical experiences where you state skills you have performed, try to word it a way where they sound like an accomplishment rather than a task.
For example, Decreased pain of women in varying stages of labour by performing fundal massages
Or something like that...

I love that suggestion! Thank you very much. After speaking with an instructor I also decided to include more work experience (animal related), and professional development which included my foaling internship with horses.
What are your thoughts on having a resume that is more than 1 page as a new graduate?
The maximum your resume should be is two pages.
However, make sure that you only include 'relevant' experiences and qualifications as opposed to everything you have and done.

I agree with this. Correct me if I'm wrong but it doesn't sound like you have a lot of experience. If that is the case I'm not sure if I would really even have it go over 2 pages.
Just as a suggestion. I would highlight your relevant work experience especially over the school clinical experience. As a new grad managers already know what they are getting from schools, but if you have outside clinical experience that sets you apart that would be really great.
Lastly, while we can't see the layout on here make sure that the layout on paper is easy on the eyes and easy to follow.

I would list the experience before the education. A prospective employer will be more interested in what you have done than in where you went, and putting the thing that they want to see most first can't hurt.
