Do LPNs get paid to take on call? What is an average or reasonable pay for on call. What if you have to go in? I have a meeting with my supervisor tomarrow to discuss it.

Most facilities have a policy regarding this issue but it isn't always the same. Is your facility a Union facility? If it is, the Union has their own rules about this.
Most facilities pay minimum wage and then if you are called in, your normal wage kicks in for the remainder of time you are at the facility. Check with your Sup.

hello. i have never heard of getting paid minimun wage for call time (that would be too good!!) we get paid (nurses and all other staff, hospitalwide) $2.00 an hour to be on call.get paid time and a half if we are called in and are paid for a minimum of 2 hours, regardless of how long we are there. we also have a 30 minute response time.

that is similar to my old hospital's policy. but each one is different. from what i was told by coworkers, i don't believe the one at my last assignment had one at all (as far as pay).
