Planner for nursing school

I used google calendar and Google tasks. I like being able to color code things, and I like the check boxes for tasks. Being able to see my schedule, as well as assignments on my phone helped with planning things as well. I also shared my calendar with my family... So they knew when I was free.

I'm sure others used paper planners, perhaps someone can help you there. Best wishes!

I use this one (this style...different print) It's an "appointment book" where the days are broken down into hourly segments....I disregard the hourly markings....I just like the way each day is broken down into separate boxes...it makes it very easy for me to keep track of tasks/assigments vs. a planner that has one big area for the whole day (if that makes sense) I use one box for each assignment/to do/task whatever. This has ended up being my favorite set up.....SO much easier to keep organized

I am a little obsessive about my planner use lol I have a different colored roll of washi tape for each class.....I put a strip over the box (corresponding with which ever class the reading/assignment is for) and write on the tape.....it makes it very easy to see what I needed for each class at a quick glance....and easy to move it if the dates get changed without having to mark it out or white out etc.....

Thank you! I think I may get an uncalendar...has anyone used those? I am definitely going to keep using my google calendar as well..i just think for me a physical calendar works a bit better. I'm a pretty visual person.

I also grabbed some washi tape!

I love the washi tape...it not only makes it easy to see what belongs to which class....makes it cute too

still figuring out the best way to use it but i got a different color/pattern for each class :)

I use an Uncalendar and I love it. It breaks down each week with so much space everywhere so I never get overwhelmed.

Do you use the large one or the small? I can;t imagine filling up all the space in the large but then again I haven't started classes yet...So I think I may order that one. haha. granted I can use spaces for to do/grocery lists etc.

This is what works for me ....I write what our lecture will be...exams.....check offs....etc reading if the class requires it ...trial and error....I just tried different things until I found what worked best for me

There are lots of planner groups on Facebook even some for nursing students. Id suggest Filofax, Kikki K, Paperchase, Erin Condren Life Planner, and Webster Pages. You can do a search on Facebook and they will all come up. I love my Domino Filofax.

I really like having just the regular small notebook planner. It may be a bit old fashioned but I like having it all there + having a pretty small notebook is an added bonus

I use this on from Plum Paper on Etsy. It's a little pricy ($32) for 12 months, plus I extended it out to 18 months, and had stickers added so I could color code my classes, preceptorship, work, my kids appointments, interviews, etc. I tried a bunch of other planners throughout nursing school and this one is by far my favorite.

One caveat, because it is personalized, it takes 3-4 weeks to ship. I promise you it is well worth it. I would always buy planners, or put my class schedules in my apple calendar with the intention of using them, and never would. I don't know if it's because this one is so pretty, or because I paid so much for it, but I use it all the time!
