to all pinoy RN's now working in USA, i would be very happy if it will be ok for you to share your story regarding or how you went to USA...starting from taking the necessary exams (nclex and english exam)....processing...endorsing...applying for visa screen...how did you get your ssn...how long does it take to wait for the visa....how did you apply....your time and story will be very much appreciated coz i really don't know how the real thing works about going there...i know that it all starts by passing the nclex but aside from that more thing to do? am i right?...thanx...

there is a thread at the top of the international forum that is called the primer and addresses all of the above questions.
working in the us as a foreign nurse is not specific to those from the philippines.
and it starts way before you take the nclex..............please read the primer...........
and any questions like this go to the international forum, they do not go here unless specific to working in the philippines.
please refer to the red banner at the top of this forum.
and you do not get a ssn# until you are in the us and ready to work.
