Tuition is comparable to private for profit programs but high compared to public schools (most only start in September ). Check the BoN website, the NCLEX pass rate is barely meeting the BoN standards (~70%)which will reduce the ability to admit the next class. They were on probation previously for low NCLEX pass rates and not meeting BoN standards in other areas (details in the publicly available BoN minutes on the BoN website). Whereas the county vocational schools have NCLEX pass rates are 90-100%.

Like anything else in life education is also relative to the effort and initiative of the student. The better your effort & initiative, the more successful you will be during school and upon graduation whether you elect to attend a public or private school. You may need some additional outside resources (tutoring, NCLEX prep classes) in either program. The employment market for new grad nurses (RN & LPN) is tough throughout the state regardless of where you attend school.

Thank you for your response. I am a hands on and visual learner. I just worry about the education quality of the professors.

Hello I went to pinelands , graduated last June, yes the price is steep but it's a GREAT school they help you a lot and have great teachers! Actually the med surg teacher was picked to help write NCLEX questions

Can I just ask how many students were in your class? Did u get hired right away? I live in Atlantic county area and (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) said that they don't have any connection in my area. I am just worried about the hour drive, cost and education. Hope u can answer some of my questions! Thanks and congrats!

Sure. There were 17 ppl in my case, about 4 of them drove over an hour to class, honestly no matter where u live it's not going to be easy finding a job, alof of places don't want to hire new nurses, I also noticed it's not what you know but who you know,ummm you will find jobs with the agency's, I have a couple per diem jobs at nursing homes, I hope this helps, if not feel free to email me! The website is terrible and you barely get any information from it. The tuition fee is too expensive for an LPN course. Would recommend finding another school.
