Hi everyone! With the Spring 2021 CAP deadline quickly approaching, I thought it would be neat to network with any other students who are applying. I just submitted my application a few days ago, and I am beyond nervous and anxious for an answer already. I am worried that not having prior healthcare experience will hurt me, and I am preparing mentally for a rejection with the intent to pick up a second job as a caregiver so that I can potentially be awarded more points the next go around. I have an A in both A&P 1&2, an A in Writing but unfortunately, only a "B" in Math 142 because I took that course right out of High School many years ago and I am afraid, at the time, I did not apply myself as I should have. So I will be retaking that course next semester if I am rejected this go around. I would love to share this experience with other students and am eager to hear all about your journeys as well.
Yes ma’am. You should get an acceptance shortly because the lowest score they accepted was 58.
I have to tell myself that this just wasn’t my blessing this go around. I’m picking up a second job as a home health caregiver to gain some experience and 4 extra points which I desperately need. Not having a prior degree or healthcare experience really hurt me.

Hi Ladies,
Sadly, I did not get in ?. Although I am a bit devastated, I am reminding myself that I knew this may happen since HESI exam scores are not factored in, and 58 was the minimum for acceptance. Congrats to those who were accepted this go around ❤️.
