PIH Health Whittier Hospital, New Grad Program: August 2025 Cohort

Hi Everyone,

I received the questionnaire link over the weekend and was able to submit my top three unit choices. I'm hoping we all get called in for interviews, just getting to that stage feels so tough these days. Wishing everyone the best of luck! Let's keep each other updated about our application progress!

Nope! Not yet. Downey and Whittier may still do interviews in July, so there's still hope there

Nope *sigh*. I did get a rejection email from Good Samaritan though, so I hope I hear back from Whittier & Downey. Trying to think positive because the next round of new grad application across SoCal are all towards the end of the year and those cohorts start in 2026 😞🤧

So I haven't heard anything yet however I did notice my applicaiton has updated to reflect my unit! If you do the email verification thing hopefully you'll see yours.

Thanks, DiannaRRN. Mine still says "New Grad " and status: active, but Congratulations on your updated status!

My status hasn't updated either

Mine hasn't either. I just checked now since someone's status changed to a unit but nothing still says "active". I wish I knew someone who currently works there so I could ask them if this is normal for PIH. The cohort starts in a month and at this point I'm starting to believe that they went on with other candidates but who knows... still trying to be hopefull
