I interviewed for a COVID unit new grad RN position @ Whittier yesterday. There were a LOT of clinical knowledge questions which was pretty surprising for a new grad interview. I feel lukewarm about the interview and am mentally preparing myself for a rejection email. She said she is wrapping up with candidates before the end of next week and HR will call to let us know.
Does anyone know if they contact your references before they extend a job offer? I’m so impatient I’m waiting for my current supervisor to tell me she’s been called so I can at least get some peace of mind ?.
Any info on your guys’ experience with the hiring process would be greatly appreciated!
@jazzy415 What was your interview like? I’ve heard of some interviewees being asked general behavioral questions and some being asked tough technical questions like I was. Did you feel the same dread I’m feeling right now? ?
