I am with you 100%, I actually have an app in for an ER for new grads in Santa Cruz, the emergency nurse training program at Rancho Springs in Riverside, and Arrowhead Regional as well...I live in San Clemente, so none of these are close so I will probably relocate for a position. Again, so hard not to be picky but I now if we are persistent we could probably land the job we want. I did get a job in the meantime dayshift ICU at Chapman Global, but it sucks to feel like I would quit if I got into a program haha

You can always do a fellowship? It's for nurses who have been working for more than a year inpatient. And you might not have to compete with new grads but internals. Doubt it's that competitive.

Yea, definitely weighing my options. I am just crusing right now, I will definitely consider it when I get to 6 months, I do think it will be easier to find a job now that I have one....Hopefully haha

does that mean no interviews or they would be doing interviews for 1-2 days and than let people know?
