Any fellow applicants to Pierce College in Puyallup? This is the first time I'm applying to nursing school, and I understand that the application process has changed a bit from past years. What'd you guys think of this year's application process?
Just got the call, I didn't get them. Very weird considering I had a 3.8 GPA, past the Kaplan test with flying colors, and have medical experience. She did say that the lowest score of the accepted students was 56 and I received 53 points. It's really hard to except it's mostly because one of the girls that got
Accepted only had a 3.7. I do still have two other schools that I'm applying to, maybe three. Probably for the best, Good luck to the rest of you!
Congrats guys! Don't be discouraged if you didn't get in. A couple of our people had applied more than once. Sometimes who you are does not translate appropriately on paper. The application process is difficult, but it is very worth it! Stenia is the only one that usually makes the calls, to more than 100 people, so it takes a while. Can't wait to meet you guys in the fall

At the time of application I only had CNA on paper with no hands on experience to put on the functional resume. I lost the Kaplan scores so I am not sure exactly but I think the average was 76 or something.
Let another day of torture begin! Best of luck to everyone who hasn't received the call yet...including me. :)
