Are there anyone applying for the 2015 Piedmont College Nursing Class? This is my first year applying, and I would like to know how long to wait for interview call before I need to start panicking.:nailbiting:

I just wonder if we will be able to increase the loans

I don't think so since it's the end of the year and we are getting whatever is left, but I could be wrong. If you find out differently let me know.

That's what I'm afraid of because I don't think I will have enough left over to cover for summer semester. I just don't want to have to pay anything out of pocket just yet.

Email the financial aid dept., they are extremely helpful. Just ask them with your remaining aid and the two classes you are taking, would you have enough to cover everything.

I just got an email about a 3000 dollar nursing scholarship from piedmont. Cool about the books! We have to get a medical kit and stethoscope scribe and books. Was told today that a 35 dollar one will work just as good as an expensive one! I was also told the biggest expenses is the first year and then it's not bad because most books are used for both years. I am registered for summer and fall already! Anyone gotten that packet in the mail yet?

I guess I meant the further instructions that where mentioned in our letter. And I read about packets on the 2014 forum I think that may be where I got that from LOL. Sunflower is me I forgot about having it under this name and started a new name but then some how wound back up on my original when I started posting a while ago.

Hi Afwife1004! I too have already registered for Summer and Fall! I was told orientation is the week before class starts, I was hoping it was sooner. But what type of medical kit were you told we needed?

Three nursing students told me it's a med kid for labs it include a cath kit, iv get and other things they did not remember. One guy told me it comes in a really nice bag! They did not even tell me about orientation.

I haven't yet! I need to go up to the school and get everything set up! I'm really excited. And yes we can be study buddies! I went there for a semester and then took a class at athens tech!
