I haven't seen a discussion for 2013 Piedmont College Nursing Applicants so I wanted to start one. That way we can compare stats and support each other through this. I know I am a nervous wreck waiting for an interview call!
What's everyone's Nursing GPA and TEAS V scores for Reading & Math?
I have a 3.4 Nursing GPA
TEAS V Scores: 95.6% Reading and 90% Math.
I am worried that my GPA is going to be my obstacle. My first couple years of college I did not take things seriously at all and my GPA suffered, horribly. I've had a couple of retakes in science courses a few years ago, so I know that pulls down my chances a little bit. But now that my head is on straight, I have gotten all A's the past 3 semesters and I am really hoping Piedmont believes in second chances! What's the saying? "Every Saint has a past and every Sinner has a future" :) Piedmont said their average GPA of accepted students last year was a 3.5
Piedmont is my first choice. I was denied from Brenau (they take allllll credits into consideration). I have also applied to NGCSU, Athens Tech, Gwinnett Tech, Georgia Perimeter and Mercer.
Hi! I am new over here. I have some questions about Piedmont Nursing program, and I hope you can help me. I'm a NGTC student. I was accepted in Piedmont in August, and I'm just waiting for them to release the nursing applications, so I can apply for the the 2014 program.I will be done with my core courses in spring 2014, 4 classes only. I'm planning to take those classes in the Demorest campus this spring so that can be cleared by summer. My current GPA is 4.0, and I already have my Basic Life Support certification. Do you think I can be accepted for the program? I'm worried about the 4 classes I'll have left for spring. Advice welcome! Thank you
Hey! The core classes shouldn't affect you. We have students that still have to get the rest of their basic core. Congrats on a 4.0 GPA. That's an accomplishment. They really love that! :) have you taken the teas? Study real hard for that, that helps too! :) Goodluck! It's a great program, just real tough!:) I am a junior there now! Let me know what else I can help u with!
Hello guys. I am currently a pre-nursing student at UNG and I really want to get into Piedmont College for nursing school. It is kind of my only choice because I am cramming as many classes in as possible so that I can apply Fall of 2013. What steps should I take to ensure that I have a very good chance of getting into the program. I finished my freshman year at UGA with a 3.6 GPA. So far, my grades at UNG are also good. Any advice?
