I'm graduating nursing school soon and got an interview in a PICU, but was just notified that this interview will be a group interview (4 applicants to 1 interviewer). In order to apply, everyone had to complete an initial video interview for the managers to review. Based on the video interview, the managers notified the applicants they wanted to meet with in person, so this group interview is the final step in the process. The time slot for this interview is only 45 minutes, so I am nervous about how to make myself stand out in that amount of time.
Since I already answered all of the general interview questions in my video, what kinds of questions should I expect to be asked?
Are there any situational questions I should be studying for?
Does anyone have any tips for standing out in group interviews? Or PICU interviews in general?
I really want to do my best because this is my dream job, the whole group interview thing just threw me for a loop!

The ones that I hated are the ones that start out with "Tell me about a time..."
Tell me about a time when you had a conflict with a coworker
Tell me about a time when you dealt with a difficult patient or family member.
Tell me about a time when you learned from a mistake.

I have never been to a group interview for a nursing job but I have had one for a non nursing job. They wanted to see if you are confident and outgoing in a group of strangers. They will probably ask you to stand up and introduce yourself. If they say talk for 20 seconds or tell us three things about yourself make sure you follow the instructions. For the interview I had I was later told by a manager that failing to follow the instructions meant an applicant was automatically out of the running for a job.

Interviews can be daunting. I had a gazillion before I landed my dream job. Just know.. they need you, more than you need them. Maintain eye contact with the person that asked the question. I had no problem saying.. "I need sometime to think about that". No loops involved.
Best wishes, you've got this.
