Good Luck to all the 2016 hopefuls!
What are the hours for Lpn? Is it the same as the generic RN? Does anyone recommend it?
Depending if you have micro or not the PN program is 5 days a week. The generic is 3 days. The LPN program is accelerated and moves much faster than the generic program; however, the generic program gets more in depth than the LPN
Does anyone know how long it takes to complete the LPN program at Pasco Hernando
1 year for LPN and 1 year for transition to RN. If you have all pre-reqs complete for the transition you can apply immediately after the LPN program other wise you may have to wait a semester and finish those pre-reqs
@nohlsson1 the shots/titers that we have to have done. I'm pretty sure I have had them all as a kid except the tdap which I think was about 3 years ago. Do they have to be more recent then that or just have my shot record and I'll be fine? I figured I would ask before I call Nancy.
I honestly can't remember the time frame for them. If I recall correctly almost everyone ended up getting it done all over. If you google the timeframe for them through the health department it should give you a better idea. At the end of your first year everyone will have to get the two-step PPD again. The school pays for a new background check and fingerprint check but you have to pay for your drug test for the second year out of your own pocket. That is what we are all going through right now
