Going to jumpstart this topic!

Good Luck to all the 2016 hopefuls!

No prereq's either

True, but keep in mind if you have any plans to continue on to transition, you will need to have all the pre-reqs completed before you can apply to transition. Many of my fellow current LPN students were not made aware of this beforehand and now have to wait ;)

Thank you! I am extremely nervous about applying. I am preparing for the TEAS now, and have a 4.0 GPA.

Do you know if it makes a difference when we apply, or is it sufficient to apply by the deadline? I just want to give myself time to re-take the TEAS if I don't get a good score. Thank you, and good luck to everyone!

Hi applied to the fall program and didn't get in unless I'm lucky and find out I'm an alternate but even then most likely will be applying to the spring program as well. :-) anyway you can apply the day of deadline and still have as much chance to get in than someone who applied today. :-)

Anyone have any idea what kind of TEAS scores got accepted this fall? I'm applying for the spring but I wanted to know if my first try at the TEAS was high enough or if I should take it one or two more times before the deadline.

Thanks!

The scores really ranged from 70s to 90s.. really depend on gpa and if your pasco hernando resident or not as well... i would take it as many times as you can it's crazy hard and the best you can do the better :-) good luck

I'm retaking since I didn't get into the program and this will be my 3rd time...hope your busy studying ;-)

Hey everyone I'll be applying for the spring RN generic I have a 3.92 prerequisite gpa and 72 on the teas but will be retaking the teas to hopefully get a better score!!

Hey everyone, just stopped in to say that the East Campus TLC is having a TEAS workshop on the 28th of August. If you're interested, give them a call for the times and everything. They go through each section and you can stay for just one or for the entire thing, be sure to bring questions and hackle the math tutors!

Do you know of any other dates they are doing a teas workshop or at other campuses??

Not off the top of my head. I know Porter has some on a regular basis, but I work at East campus and my boss asked me to help out with the workshop, so that's the only one I know of at the moment! Usually, the TLC's are pretty good about setting things up if enough people ask, since they want visitors for more funding the next semester, so just call and ask about more workshops and there's a good chance they'll be set up.

I still have yet to hear back for fall programs LPN and generic! But I'll most likely have to apply again for spring semester! I'm right there with you! I've been following these forums forever but never comment lol

Hi all! I'm super nervous I will be applying for both the ADN transition and the ADN generic for the porter campus this spring. My prerequisite GPA is I think a 3.57 and my highest score on the TEAS is a 74.7 I can take it one more time before the deadline sept 15th but I don't foresee my score being much higher. 😞 any idea what my chances look like?
