Philly new grads- where are you finding jobs?

I'm starting Drexel's ACE program in the fall. I've looked around on a few hospital websites and the job postings are so sporifice I hear crickets chirping. I know a lot of hospitals are on a hiring freeze. I know I won't be job hunting for a while, but I'm curious about how and what new graduates are doing now.

Specializes in BSc, ASN- RN, MBA.

I spoke with an Med Assistant and a Phlebotomist yesterday. Apparently jobs in those areas have dried up as well. It seemed the economy might have been improving, but with recent news of more forclosures and rumored bankruptcies (CIT, Crocs) it obviously is still faltering.

Many hospitals in PA are very concerned about the upcoming budget talks. The state is considering decreasing Medicare funding to hospitals and they are concerned they will be losing millions of dollars and many hospitals have hiring freezes.
