Philippine nursing degree-cna

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here, and I just wanted to ask something regarding my current career situation. Though these topics has been answered more than thrice on this forum, still I would have to just to address my concern completely on my behalf.

I'm originally from Philippines, a license nurse from my home country, and came here with a K1 visa, I live in Los Angeles CA and getting married by anytime next week. While waiting for my wedding, I got bothered with somewhat interesting regarding my career wherein I am aware that I can't work here as a nurse, knowing that CA BON will no longer allow foreign nurses to take NCLEX directly without completing the required credentials or even attending to school again. With all of those circumstance, I decided to switch on CNA instead. That way, I'll start from the bottom, step by step and who knows in Gods time someday. But my question is, do I have to take classes/courses for me to become eligible in taking their exams? What would be the first step? How much would be the expenses if ever?I've read somewhere regarding these topics but those are not updated.

Thank you for taking time to read

You help is much more appreciated.
