I'm currently doing a research paper regarding the differences and similarities between international nurses. To be specific, American and Philippine Nurses. Long story short, what are some key differences and similarities in the roles that these nurses partake in when it comes to caring for the people in their culture? I'm really interested in this topic considering that I am still a student, and this will possibly have an effect on me in the future! If possible, please provide any articles that I can read regarding this topic

I'll agree with the potlucks and raise you neatness. I won't say it's unique to Filipinos -- but anyone who went to nursing school in the Phillipines, including one red-headed Irishman I once worked with -- makes the neatest beds, does the neatest dressings and keeps the cleanest patient rooms I could ever aspire to!
