pheno chromocytoma

My patient has pheno chromocytoma with increased neutrophills and low lymphocytes. I understand why the increased neuto but I cant figure out why the low lymph.

Any ideas??

Do you mean pheochromocytoma? Might be easier to search the literature if you try that spelling. An article I found says that both the sympathetic activation and the pheochromocytoma cells suppress T cell proliferation.
