Waiting to hear from PHCC regarding my app for RN/LPN. I have a 3.5 gpa in the pre req's and a 75 on the reading comp (net). I am anxious to hear something.
What do you think your odds are of getting in?
I got my letters today, I applied to the RN and LPN programs. I am selected as an alternate to both programs.
My GPA is 3.7 and NET comp score is 80, Math 93, Reading 71. It would be nice to know how big the chance is to get accepted when you are an alternate. It kind of feels like you are just left hanging....Let's hope it works out for all of us and GOOD LUCK!
ok im getting nervous, i havent gotten anything in the mail yet, is this a bad thing? I was reading an i got on the net a 79 on reading, 90 on math, and my comp was 86 so im thinking i should be an alternate but who knows this is driving me crazy. anyone else out there still waiting on a letter? hopefully im not alone! yikes
Congratulations to xray11. Huntersmom1109: I do not know about the change of your degree on Wise before your acknowledgment. In my case, how would they know to change my degree until I notified them about which invitation I was going to accept or decline? I seem to recall an advisor telling me that they do not change your degree until after orientation.
I am still waiting for my letters.
I dont know but you can check.. I havent received my letter but I am pretty sure I got in because my fiance has his letter and we had the same exact grades except for my math was higher and so was my net composite (reading was the same and gpa)... Im just worried that the letter gets lost and I dont accept my seat and then they think I dont want to accept it. ough!!! I wish they would just call!

My GPA is 4.0. NET reading is 88, and NET Math 100, NET composit 94. I retook the NET test after failing to get in the August 2009 class with a composite score of 78. I think the lowest composite score in August 2009 was in the mid 80's for those who were invited. I believe they look more to the reading score for ranking and the composite is used as a tie breaker. The composite score is the average of the reading and math scores.
