Nursing Students General Students

I have a few months before my nursing program starts and I'd like to start learning the drugs that are most commonly used instead of reading ahead in my textbooks.

So...what book should I get? Which ones should I start studying? I am pretty clueless in this subject matter so HELP!

What everyone else said... And.... Know ADME. Know receptors. Learn meds for hypertension. They appear a lot in all sorts of Ds. Also narcotics. And diabetes. Learn the endings of generic drugs. Most have predictable endings that help you recognize which class they belong to. That should get you started. Always take a systems approach to learning the drugs. If you get why they do what they do to the various organs and systems, it all makes so much more sense.

Thank you all!!
