Pharmacology/Pathophysiology Comics!

hi there! my name is kim and i am currently in an accelerated bsn program for nursing to a pmhnp. i also have adhd. i learned a long time ago that i do my best learning when i have a lot of visual aids. i had no idea that my need for creating flow charts and images to help me keep track of concepts would ultimately lead to something like this. recently, an instructor offered us a point of extra credit if we could create artwork relating to one of our lectures. i decided to create a comic and ultimately found out that i learned much more in creating my comic than i did from reading, highlighting, taking notes, flash cards, or any other "traditional" study method.

nurseology 411 was born.

i chose the number 411 not because i believe my comics are of 400 level educational quality, but because 411 is the number you dial for operator assistance. i wanted my comics to offer assistance to those students whose brains are like mine. i also wanted them to be engaging and fun to read. i hope you enjoy reading them as much as i enjoy creating them!
