I'm so excited I passed both my pharmacology and anatomy class!!!!!!!!!! It was hard endless nights of studying but at the end it's all worth it. This is just to let people know not to give up its hard but trust and believe you can do it.

Congrats! I had to take A&P ahead of time, but pharmacology was part of my nursing program. That was a tough class & failing it meant failing the entire program. Thankfully, I passed! :)

Any idea, on how to study for pharmacology? I have my dosage exam tomorrow and i am freaking out lol

I start Pharmacology on August 16th and I am worried. I heard this is the hardest class of the nursing program. Any ideas on how to study most effectively or is it just straight memorization?

Sorry I'm getting back late. Don't worry the best thing that worked for me was going over the drugs and calculations even though we didn't have an exam. You have to keep it in your head as much as you can.

It sure is the hardest!!!!! And depending how the instructor teaches and what they require you to know for each drug can be overwhelming. What worked for me is writing them on index cards and just saying and repeating everything until I could say it with out looking. I did it everyday, every second I got and it actually helped. It's half memorization and half just knowing and understanding the drug.
