Personal question: had anyone here had.....

a breast reduction? I was told today by my doc that if I don't have one soon my shoulder spasms will get worse. While the idea of being smaller is atractive to me, I'm a little nervous about the surgery. Has anyone here had it done? Would you be willing to share your experience with me, via PM if you prefer?

I have all the signs and symptoms of the problem, BUT I never saw my doctor because I have huge breasts, something that I thought I would just have to live with. I have no medical record of the problem because I thought I would have to just suck it up and deal with it. I guess that was a mistake on my part. I would really like to not have back pain, shoulder/neck pain, dents, the postural hunch, wearing bras to bed, etc. I guess it's my bad!

Start now by going to your regular doctor with the cheif complaint of BACK PAIN. Let the doc treat you however he/she sees fit - medication, physical therapy, etc. Seriously, the more you have in your medical record, the better.

I haven't seen my PMD for back pain problems but my chiro certainly has a huge file on me! He knows I plan on having this done and he also said it should relieve a lot of my problems.
