Permit from Florida Board of Nursing

Hello everyone.

My education at medical college was outside the US.( in Russia)

Here, in Florida, I finished EAP classes ( English Academic Purpose) at Valencia College .( level 3,4,5,and 6 )

Does anyone Know: Do I need to pass TOEFL or it's enough for permission to take the exam?

Have you asked the Florida BON? Their answer is the one that counts. :) Best wishes!

Or ask the school's counselors or the head department of the FL college, that's why you're attending the school and if they know, it will meet the FL BON requirements.

But I'm pretty sure the EAP courses do not qualify as a substitute for any of the English proficiency exams required by most state's BONs.

As elkpark mentioned, the final answer to your question will be made by the FL BON.
