OK, I have a PEDS care plan due tomorrow. My 2-mo. old baby's chest x-ray said he has mild perihilar prominence without focal consolidation. I can not find this in any of my reference books, and I tried to look it up on the net but could not find any type of definition. My care plan is due tomorrow, so if anyone could help me out on this tonight please let me know. Thanks.

Here is a pic of the lungs. What the radiologist is saying is (I think), While the area shows up on film more than it should, there is no sign of disease (such as pneumonia).
I don't think there is really anything here that needs to be addressed in a care plan. But, YMMV.
