Peri OP 101 final exam

I took the final exam about two weeks ago. It was pretty overwhelming, but managed to pass on the first try. The questions were also different from what I was expecting based on the quizzes at the end of the modules. Were you allowed to use your notes while in the exam? If so, I would advise knowing exactly where information can be found in your textbook/notes the next time you take your exam. If you can remember what questions you got wrong, then you may be able to study those topics to be prepared as well. Good luck!

Dont be discouraged I just took it a few weeks ago and failed the 1st time, the 2nd time I got a 93. About half of the nurses in my group failed and we all passed the 2nd time. Review the questions you got wrong and you will be just fine!

Thank you for the replies! Very encouraging. I am not allowed to bring a note or anything in but I have questions I got wrong. I focus on those topics to review... I need to pass this for the next time since if I don't I need to find another job as per the manager. Big pressure but I will try my best. Thanks again.

I took the test today and it was ridiculous. I barely passed. My teacher missed by 1 % point!! So many of those questions are vague and poorly written and not a good indicator of OR competency. Overall i was disappointed with the quality of the entire program, esp considering how much money my hospital paid to buy it!! Videos from 1987...SERIOUSLY? :confused: :down:

May I ask if you take the peri op final a second time, are they the same exact questions again???
