People who took the TEAS multiple times, did you get into a good program?

Nursing Students TEAS

I'm currently applying to a couple of ADN programs in MO and the minimum teas score to most of them is 60%. I got a 67 on my first attempt, however I took the test when I was applying to programs in GA and most schools had a minimum of 80-90. I ended up taking the test 5 times to get an 80. Unfortunately, the 5th time only got me to a 78. I have a 3.0 prerequisite GPA and 3.1 cumulative GPA. I honestly wanted to give up because my classmates were getting 90% and I was struggling to meet the minimum score. Now that I've looked at schools in MO, I finally feel like I have a chance of pursuing my dreams. The only problem is, I've taken the teas 5 times and I'm not sure if that is frowned upon by the admissions staff. Are there any nurses out there who took the teas multiple times and still got in to a program? Thanks in advance! Any advice is very much appreciated!

Each program has its own requirements. You need to check with the programs you are interested in. Some don't care how many times you take the TEAS, some say only twice, some say only twice within a year. It varies considerably. There are even programs which do not require the TEAS at all.

Look into Utica College, Marian University, and Roseman University.
