I graduated from GPC on the 11th of May and we still don't have our ATT from the board.
Does anyone else have theirs yet who have graduated from other schools?
Thanks!

I graduated from NGCSU on May 13th, mailed my paperwork on May 15th and got an ATT on May 18th. I'm taking the test on June 8th!! Quite a few people in my class already have a test date, but there are still some waiting on their ATT. One of our classmates called the GA BON and they explained that there are only 3 people processing the applications and they are divided by the alphabet. We decided on our own that the person that has P-Z is the fast one!! Good Luck!

From what I am hearing.....the problem with GPC is that our applications have not even been mailed yet!!! ERRRRRRRR!!!!!!:angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire
(our school has us turn in our apps to them and then THEY get our transcripts and they mail them......they are just taking their sweet A** time!!!!)
Yet another reason.......(you know what I'm saying)
(sorry...its late and I love these little smilies!)

I gave you a heads up about this in the "All Current GPC Nursing Students" thread.
GPC told me the same thing about the NCLEX...that they were sending the paperwork, wait for the phone number to call...I didn't get my ATT until March (I graduated in Dec.). You need to contact Pearson Vue. The GA board of nursing will NOT send you anything until after you pay for the NCLEX. Go to http://www.vue.com/ register for an account, pay the NCLEX fee, then they will notify the board of nursing that you paid and the board of nursing will send your ATT. Then you go back to vue.com and schedule your NCLEX.
I did what GPC said...wait 4-6 weeks for the board of nursing to send the phone #...and it was wrong.
GPC was actually fast about mailing my paperwork, it was there within two weeks...too bad I didn't know I had to register before getting an ATT.
You can also go to the GA BON website http://www.sos.state.ga.us/plb/rn/ and see if they have received your application yet...just click on "Check the Status of an Application" on the left side of the screen and follow the directions.
thanks for the info Boe!
We have all payed on Pearson Vue and are all ready to go....we are just waiting for the school to get our transcripts and mail them......so the state can contact Pearson vue that we are eligible to test!
Thanks for the heads up that we needed to register first!
yea....I have been checking there also and still nothing! UGH!! Hopefully they will have them in soon!

I got my ATT two days after I mailed in my application, and I was applying from out-of-state. If your school is sending in the application on your behalf, that might be where the delay is as they have numerous applications to fill out and mail.
