Anybody please make me feel better, please. I recently was told my projected start date is in May 2015. I knew their was a long waiting list and I was expecting to wait a year. However, I was not expecting to wait for two years. Anybody please share their story or someone you make know on how long you had to wait. Thanks!:)

Makes me wonder if that area is becoming over-saturated with nurses? Are you trying to get into the ADN program? Maybe you should just enter a BSN program instead, and take all of your pre-reqs, if you haven't already. Can you take some online courses while you wait, like at the University of South Alabama or the University of Mobile, or the University of West Florida? Most of the ADN programs do have a waiting list, and there is no guarantee you will get in at all.
