  1. Any word yet? I'm not sure if we are supposed to hear in the email or not.
  2. Are those current threads? I took it twice and had high 90s in each category, except reading, I got an 88 there. I used the generic facebook page for HESI A2 studying.
  3. I'm applying for the bridge program, so fingers crossed! My points are 107, without the video points added. My friend was accepted last year with a total of 95 points though! Thanks again for your response! Otherwise, I might not have known to be looking out October 5th!
  4. ...also, I noticed my points are calculated, but they did not add the video points yet.
  5. Really?? That is amazing. I am not always able to check my account because it doesn't seem to load on my cell. I'll have to check mine later. What were your points, if you don't mind me asking? The video we had to watch said they would let ppl know by Nov 7, so im surprised it's early. Are you applying for RN or LPN-RN Bridge? :)
  6. I applied to Northwest Florida State College and just finished my application process for the Spring semester 2021. Anyone else applying? :) I'm hoping my points are enough.
  7. With the LPN to RN bridge program, I see it starts each August. What is the schedule like? Are you able to work and complete this program? Very curious before I apply. Thanks!!!
  8. Shellaaay10x What state are you working in? Just curious since I graduate this July and I am interested in school nursing while I go on for my RN. :) I like to hear feedback on how other school nurses like their jobs and what they do everyday.
  9. Locklin technical school. Milton florida.
  10. Did you get accepted with the 120 points? Just curious to know what their range of acceptance is like. Thanks! :)
  11. I love to see what everyone has to say about this topic! I'm 26 and applying to nursing programs as well. I think the only thing that makes it more difficult than if you are right out of high school is the fact that usually in your mid-twenties you have more responsibilities and more things on your plate than just school. That's the hardest part for me, how to give up a full time job to go back to school, when I have an apartment to pay for and a car loan. It can be scary, you just have to set your priorities straight, if you really want it, and make it happen. :)
  12. Did you get in the school you took it for? I got a 78% also a week ago for an LPN program. I was told that it was a "great score", but I still can't help but worry.
  13. I have a HESI a2 book and it has great information on A & P. Since A&P should be the same information no matter what book you are studying, I am using this to go over that particular section. Can anyone say for sure if that is a good idea? It seems like the Kaplan Science section in the study guide is overwhelming with SO MUCH SCIENCE information, instead of distinguishing between chemistry and anatomy and so on.. THANKS! :)
  14. Hey everyone! I need some input from whoever can help. haha. I am applying for a local LPN program -15 minutes from my house. I am also applying for an RN program 1 hour from my house. Both entrance exams have to be completed before March 1 and I also work a full-time, day job. I already have off work for Feb 17th to complete the LPN's entrance exam. The Kaplan. I am trying to decide on a time to schedule the RN program's exam (The Hesi A2) and... I'm hitting a dead end. I can either schedule the RN entrance exam on the 17th at 1:30 -which would be an hour an a half after I finish my LPN exam, and that hour would be spent driving to the location. OR, I get off work Friday's at 12:15, I could schedule it FEB 19th at 1:30 and immediately leave work, drive an hour and then take my RN exam, BUT I would only get about 2 1/2 -3 hours to take the exam because the testing center closes early on Friday's. SO, take 2 different entrance exams in one day .. or take them 2 days apart, losing time on one day?? Is this even smart to take 2 different entrance exams in ONE WEEK? Or should I maybe just choose one program over the other... at this point in time? Stressed - but thank you for any advice. :)
  15. I can't remember exactly, but when I attempted to get in last year I had a total of 19 points. Billy in advising told me that they were only accepting those with 21 points and that I should keep trying to change my major. :/ Instead, I'm going through an LPN program and then trying again, hoping that makes a difference. The road is definitely long and can be challenging!
