in need of peds advice

Hi guys. I need some advice here. My almost four year old has an odd rash all over her trunk and neck. Nothing on her extremities. It's a small, slightly reddened rash (mostly from her scratching, I think) No fluid present-no blistering or capping noted. She has no fever- has not had any new foods or new soaps of any kind (laundry or body)no medicines. She is not complaining of anything but itching- and it seems to bother her most when she's sleeping. It's almost like a flea-bite-type of mark. But I have no indoor pets, and she hasn't been outside enough lately. It appeared on her trunk a few days ago and is now on her front and neck. It doesn't seem to have any sort of real inflammatory flare-up (meaning it's not really bright flamming red, more like a pink.) All surrounding skin is of normal color. It's just these small, wide spread little itchy bumps! She is up-to-date on all her immunizations and has had the chicken pox vaccination.

Here's my question- I'm not usually one to run off to the Dr. for every little sniffle or boo-boo. With no fever or any other complaints- should I wait a few days to see what it does (I'm hoping it'll just go anway) or should I call the Dr. and get her in?

If it were me- I'd wait. But I'm not sure. What do you think?

I would call the doc and tell him/her exactly what you have said here, then let the doc decide if he/she wants to see your daughter or not right now. :)
