I am looking for any information on becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Maine. If you have any information on the states requirements, what program you went to, other certifications you have, etc I would appreciate it!

Search the universities in your state for master's programs offering it, enroll, pass all the classes, pass all the clinical requirements, graduate, take the national board certification exam -I don't know if PNPs use ANCC or not- apply for the credentials with your state board, apply for a NPI number, apply for a DEA number, apply for a Medicare numer, and then start applying for all the other insurance programs you're interested in. Somewhere in there you have to get a job for supervision or collaboration, but that's state dependent. Otherwise, that's pretty much the flow of how all NPs become NPs.
