Hi everyone, I have question about PVT works if u ran out of time in test. I had 260 questions and time ran out. I came home and did pearson vue trick 5 hours later and it gave me good pop up. I am very depressed don't know what to do. I took my test on April 2nd and today is April 5th . My BOard is CA. They don't participate in quick view results. Please help me. My name is not on the Board website. Did I pass....? I am sooooooo sad.
Schizoh 68 Posts Apr 6, 2012 when a candidate runs out of time before completing the max. number of items, the ff. rule will be applied:the candidate will pass if their ability estimate has remained above the passing standard for the last 60 items. and the candidate will fail if their ability estimate was below the passing standard for any of the last 60 items. this does not mean that you have to answer the last 60 items correctly.anyway as you've said you got a good pop up. it means you passed. i got a good pop before and i passed. congrats. 3 business days it will be posted on site.

stelon 148 Posts Apr 6, 2012 LVN or RN NCLEX? It makes a difference. They have two different boards and the BVNPT is way less efficient than the BRN in CA. If you're trying for the LVN prepare for a long wait. They will not post your name on their verification site until after you've received the letter stating you passed and then they recieve your check for the license. I did not get my letter for about 6.5 weeks after taking the test. If you took the RN NCLEX, should be any day now.
