PDA's at CCAC?

Hello everyone!!

Does anyone know if you are allowed to use PDA's during clinicals in CCAC's nursing program? My boyfriend offered to buy me one for school so I could get some stuff from Skyscape, but it'd be a bit pointless if they aren't even allowed!!

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! :D

I made my daily "where the hell is my acceptance letter" call to CCAC today and since I was on the phone I asked Melissa if she knew anything about whether PDA's were allowed. She didn't have an answer, but gave me the Chair's e-mail address so that I could send her my question. I'll let you know if I get a response!

"It's in the mail."

I haven't been home to check my mail yet, but from what everyone else has said today, I'm not expecting it to be there.

I almost started screaming and banging the phone against the wall. :angryfire I would have, but I feel bad for Melissa, not her fault we haven't received them yet!

I got a really quick reply from the chair!

She said that there have been students that use PDA's in class. She advised that we wait until we know who are clinical instructor would be and then send them an e-mail to make sure that they allow PDA's in class. So basically, the college doesn't have a policy prohibiting them, they leave it up to the instructor.

Thank you so much!!! :yeah:

I got an email back from Melissa at North Campus saying our letters should be in our mail boxes tomorrow.

Here's hoping!
