PCT/CNA

Hello all!

I am either starting a PCT or CNA program in September in the state of Oklahoma. Shortly after I finish my certification I will be moving back to California. I have read numerous threads about reciprocity and that other than the time it takes it doesn't seem to be a problem to move from state to state with a CNA. I know that as a CNA I will need to work and get paid for at least 8 hours?? Not sure. and that I have to be in "good standing" and that the cert. is active. Now my question is about the PCT. Does it work the same since from what I know PCTs are like CNAs except with more skills. So would the reciprocity work the same as the CNA? I need to be back in California by January and my class will end in October/November. I am also going to call the Nurse Registry of CA today too. Second question is would a CNA just be easier to transfer than a PCT when moving from state to state

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just a side note to confuse matters(mainly confusing for me) I also have a chance to do a CNA program in North Carolina but that is kind of a last resort. Long story short. Im considering these courses outside of CA because the classes I wanted to get into for the fall are mostly full. I have contacts in Oklahoma and NC to do these.....anyway....thanks in advance
