I everyone. I need some advise. currently working as a pct in hospital in connecticut and plan to move to georgia next year. my questions are, any jobs available in the atlanta area and can i transfer my cna license from one state to another. Also, I am taking classes toward my RN and need to transfer those credits to a school in georgia. I love atlanta and would enjoy living there, but I am concerned about the availability of jobs.

I live in metro Atlanta and have never looked into long term care (not sure what type of facility you work int), but I've worked on floors in hospitals around here and there are ALWAYS hospitals hiring. Atlanta has tons of hospitals. Downtown is full of them and every metro area has their own. I have no idea about transfering the actual CNA license, but as long as your college is accredited, your classes should transfer.
