PCCC Nursing Evening Chance of Getting In

Hi, I am currently a student at Pasaaic county community college (PCCC) and I want to go for the nursing evening program. Oct 1 2016 is the deadline & Jan is the beginning. I heard it harder than the day one but I want to get in & start school by Jan 2017 than wait a whole year to start the day one.

Here's my problem, I have already taken all of my prerequisites and my grades aren't bad but not great. I got 4 A's (SC004 general science, Psy101, French101, yoga101). 2 B's (Soc101, Col experience, and 5 C's! (AP 1 & AP 2 C+, Ch103 C, En1 & En 2 C+) but I had failed AP 1 & Ch 103 once each. I was not focus on school until about a year ago when I started to clean up my acts.

I clepped psy 102 because I will be away for military training & won't have time to take it so my advisor which is a teacher of the nursing program advise me to Clep it. And I have a 2.760 GPA but I am afraid that I won't get in with those grades especially having obtaining C for the science classes & having failed 2 of them before.

Has anyone have had this problem & apply in the evening program & got in. HELP I'M DESPERATE!!! YOUR COMMENTS ARE EXTREMELY WELCOME & YOUR PATHWAY & HOW THE PROGRAM IS GOING!!.

I wanted to apply to other colleges such as William Paterson but my advisor advise me to get my AAS because one she said money wise WPU can be expensive for the nursing program, the nursing program there is extremely hard cuz some kids have drop out or change their majors. Also, with my AAS I can always be a nurse unlike if I go to WPU & fail the nursing program I can never become a nurse again & that will save me a lot of money towards my BSN (I want to be a CRNA, certified registered nurse anesthetist).

With those grades that I have now, I am afraid that I will not get in the evening program. I want to get in the evening because they only allow one nursing class per semester which mean I will finish in Dec 2018 & take my board b4 Jan 2019 when I plan on going for my BSN & I am trying to at least have my AAS before I get deploy (if I get cuz I'm Army reserve & my unit had already made a trip & got bk about 3 months before I took my oath). But if I dnt get in the evening then I apply for the day, it meant I will finish May 2019 & that is something I am not looking forward to but I don't oppose just prefer the start of Jan 2017 than September 2017. ANYONE WHO HAS HAD THE SAME STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE AS ME LET ME KNOW WHETHER YOU GOT IN & HOW DID YOU DO GRADES WISE & HOW IS THE PROGRAM GOING FOR YOU CUZ I AM REALLY STRESSING OVER THIS & I AM AFRAID THAT I WON'T GET IN CUZ THEY ONLY ACCEPT 40 STUDENTS FOR THE EVENING!!!!.

I took my teas I did pretty decent ( reading 69.9%, Math 59.9% & writing 55.6%) & with my GPA & Credits I should get 10pts but I will get -2pts (AP1 & Ch103) for each class failed in the pass 5yrs. So I hope that out of all those students that will apply..I can make the part of the 40 ones that get pick in.

ANY COMMENTS WELCOME PLEASE. & I WILL REPLY TO ANY COMMENTS IN A TIMELY MANNER. I JUST HOPE THAT I GET IN. LET ME KNOW. Please & thank you for your time.
