PBSC 2013

Published

Hi everyone, this is a thread for the January 2013 PBSC students. I know October is right around the corner, so I am a little frazzled right now. I am preparing for the HESI and have purchased the HESI study guide. Haven't made it to the mandatory information session as yet though. Also I was wondering if the Pro-Calc is a required test for new students as well. I didn't see anything online on testing dates etc for that. Is it similar to the HESI?

I am so anxious today!! I think it's a combination of waiting to hear if I was accepted, and the fact that I have a test on 8 chapters of Pharm tomorrow

Are you taking the DL course? I am in that course and took the test today. Good luck on it if you haven't taken it yet!

I wonder if they're going to send out denials today and acceptances on Monday?! I'm actually glad the school is open today so there won't be any additional delays. Good luck everyone!

Hey everyone. Well I applied last semester and still have my denial letter and other email on the 27 they sent us a letter to appeal our points and then gave us a week to solve all those issues and around the 2 of November ( which is a month after the application was due) they sent out the denial letter. I don't know about acceptance letters because unfortunately I didn't get one last semester but I'm hoping this time to get in!!!! So good luck to you all hope this helps you guys rest a little!!!

Grrrrr!!! It's the 29th! The suspense is driving me insane, lol

It can't be much longer, spring registration is right around the corner.. Tick tock...

Fingers crossed for today.

Still "Pending".... how annoying!! Argggg!

Your points haven't been posted yet? I know someone who's points were posted yesterday, I thought that was crazy. This is taking way longer than I expected. ?

I'm thinking of dropping my online pharm class and taking it in the spring. Does anyone have experience with doing this? Success?

My problem is, my 3 year old doesn't start preschool until January, so it's been really difficult to dedicate the time for my studies. In January, I plan on staying on campus to study until I have to pick up my kids at 6pm.

Well, I had to do same thing (last year) it was a lot, home and pharm class in campus. I was on C and I didn't want to mess up my GPA, so I dropped pharm. I think it was the best choice because my GPA and also cuz' it is a very important class for a nurse, all concepts should yo be clear. I have 2 kids and just until spring I'm planning to try with pharm again
