Hi everybody (well at least everyone that reads this :))
I just wanted to see if there's anyone out there looking to start this Spring?
OK. Thanks for the info. I will be starting to study for that now. When I look online to see the dates to take it, I cant find any. It was very competitive at my university as well. They went off your science and math grades. They only let about 40 people in(no bueno). Yes I will be attending the last information session of the year next week. Thanks so much for the insight. I wish you the best of luck while your in the program!
thanks for the info, joanna.so they didn't say you had to make a decision to accept the seat by a different date? (okay, i was just hoping that some applicants would accept other colleges so the denied list would move up.)
some people will deny right away, so make sure u speak with latisha myrick, she may be able to give you some more insight.
yes that would help a ton. i sent you a msg on fb earlier as i have been following this thread for a few days now. you can contact me on there or here which ever is easier. thanks!

Definitely prepare for the HESI. It was fairly difficult and you want to get at least eight points, if not the full ten. You have your bachelors so you'll get three points there, it's all based on a point system, and you never know if you'll get in until you get the email. For fall start last year (before they got rid of the NLN and brought in the HESI) the lowest points was 28.83 out of I believe 32 or 33. This semester it was approximately 25.0. I am not going to tell you that it is easy to get into because it is extremely competitive. In the fall I believe they only accept 90 students, spring they accept more (because there are more campuses) and the points are generally lower. If you attend a nursing information session (which you have to in order to apply for the program) they answer a lot of questions you may have.
I don't have the handout that goes over the points system handy, but it's pretty straight forward.
