PBSC 2014 Fall RN admissions

Are there any future nurses out there being driven crazy by this waiting game to see if you are accepted into the program this fall 2014. I have read posts that say the cut offs are higher for fall then spring and I applied with 25.55 points. Is anyone else feeling my pain out there and stalking the PBSC website.

My points haven't updated either.. I'm expecting two more-- one for healthcare and one hopefully for psych (AP transcript was received the day OF the deadline ugh lol) I think they will update points and simultaneously send out the emails.

The small amount of threads is reassuring, but then again there could just be a ton of people following the discussion who dont have an account.

Since the June 26th notification date is just an estimate, maybe people are being denied today, and we all are accepted and will learn this on Thursday =)

I applied with 25.55 and my points didn't post yet either. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

As ferocious as most nursing applicants are, I'm hoping the lack of people on these forums is a positive indicator.... everyone got above an 80 on the math of the Hesi, right? Wondering if that may be something they had to look into closer. Otherwise they must have gotten flooded the day of the deadline. Latisha said last cycle they got upwards of 120 applications on the day of the deadline. But I know the deadline was 10/1 and the denials went out 10/15. Fingers crosses we know something soon!!!! My points have yet to be updated either.. In fact my current status reads: pre program application. Does anyone else's say this? Also is the program code 2301 and term 20143? I just want to make sure at least this info is correct.

That is what mine said before my points were up. I think once your points are visible, everything will be updated.

Just read on another thread that someone contacted Ms. Boyles on Friday and was told it was taking longer than expected because they have a new person reviewing the applications. Also, we should hear something by the 30th....another week of waiting : (

Hi everyone,

I guess I will chime in over here. I applied with 26.6 points. I'm still missing my Healthcare point, and waiting on an appeal for 2 classes taken elsewhere. As of today it only shows 23.66 points:arghh: Latisha advised me to just be patient and I should see a change in 5-7 business days. That was last week Wednesday so I'm hoping I will know by Friday.

I can't tell who is more worried, those of us missing points or those of us without any points yet. lol! Needless to say... I think we have all proven we have nerves of steal. :up:
