PBSC 2014 Fall RN admissions

Are there any future nurses out there being driven crazy by this waiting game to see if you are accepted into the program this fall 2014. I have read posts that say the cut offs are higher for fall then spring and I applied with 25.55 points. Is anyone else feeling my pain out there and stalking the PBSC website.

Thank You mschulz. I was so happy to find out exactly what was going on that the denial didn't even bother me. I just wanted to know so i could move on. Good Luck to u all

Thank you too for being honest . That's a shame . Specially since they said in orientation they want the letter short as possible . Best of luck to you! I don't remember if you said you were going for social work , but I was a psych nurse/ case manager an we had a lot of interns from fau ! It's a really good program

Yes I did say Social Work. I'm really interested in being a patient advocate, I'm not really into the hands on part. I just felt that having the skills under my belt would be nice. It's never to late though, maybe i will do the RN program after getting my BSW to lessen the practical part.

I wonder if it will be lower because people will be sending in their acceptances for other schools. They may send out denials and then say "just kidding! we have ten more spots!"

I would hate for that to be the case for other people, especially since PBSC seems to be first choice for most. But, not going to lie.... I'd take it!

Dnt worry... There is always next semester. If what I heard was true it should be much easier... maybe try retaking Hesi or Critical thinking

See I don't feel that's right. Considering if you earn the point. As a phlebotomist your more than qualified. But I can see how it puts a bad taste in your mouth. Considering they are probably just trying to be done with it all. Another day down with no news. Grrr.
