Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!!
I was told its not the chemistry alone that is holding up the process and appeals. It might be the work related letters, the out of state/ out of school transfer credits (those classes need to be identical and some people might be disputing it for points) either way the cutoff is def higher than last time for sure. I was also told that the chemistry class is not making a difference because most people that have valid appeals have really high points anyway so that's not affecting it. Hope this helps but looks like possibly high 25's. Not sure :-/
Last semester I had an issue with my points that I didn't know about until they posted. Being a Florida and palm beach county resident, I'd handed in, faxed, and emailed the form but it wasn't in the system correct, even though I'd handed it in more than three times the year prior, so I had to contact Ms. Mehmed and get it straightened out after points posted, so you have to understand why they'd give the students some time to contact them with discrepancies, because just imagine being declined on an error the school made.

The email said they had until today to dispute any problem with their points. I'm just praying right now. I feel like I've already been defeated. It would be wonderful if the cutoff is low enough for me to get in, I want this so bad!!
