PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

So they didn't say what day this week? They just said sometime this week? Or is it still up in the air?

So I've been starting my req. For getting in. Like vaccines CPR etc. Whatever I can do to be ahead as I can bc I am going out of town for a week in July. Do not want to fall behind in the case that I do get in. I didn't do anything that I would've have not done anyway. But I did get A lot a out of the way, I even have uniforms bc the lady said that I could return them if I don't get in. The only Thing I could not get my money back for were the name tags but oh well. I'll call it a loss if anything. It would be my fault for being cocky. But I can't help it I've never felt this confident in the past and again I want to ready as soon as they say your in!! Also have my portfolio started!!

I haven't started getting anything yet, although I feel confident as well. I just want to have a solid answer before moving forward, besides I have a ton of free time this summer to get all things done if I do get in. But, when the time is right, could you share where you got your uniforms from? I'm so anxious, I wish we would wake up tomorrow morning and a decision would be in our inboxes!

I wasn't told an actual day. I was just told that we shouldn't expect anything until after the 25th. A few people still don't have their points posted and they won't make a decision until everyone's points have been updated. We're all hoping the remaining points are posted today and we find out a decision by Thursday.

On the note of decision day again: I noticed that last semester's applicants were notified of the exact day they would get a decision. Do you guys think they'll do the same for us? I think it would ease all of our minds if we knew the exact day to expect the decision rather than going insane refreshing our browser every few fifteen minutes.

Just called the Pbsc nursing desk.. me: I was just calling to see id you received the acceptance denial sheet yet? Desk lady: they're working on it now expect it within the next couple of days.

Omg, that just made my heart rate increase!!! I really hope the next couple of days means either Wednesday or Thursday. I say we all keep calling them so they won't take their sweet time. If I have to suffer through another weekend of no decision, I'll lose my mind lol

I have also been checking my registration dates and times in panther Web last week it said 7/24 when my financial.aide came in now it reads 7/12 *** is up with that what does yours read

My registration date is listed as 7/12 as well.
