Good afternoon,
I am just starting my treck into nursing school. I am multilingual and folks keep saying how lucky I am and what a high demand there will be for me, etc....great and all but what if I can't pay to finish. I keep hearing about hospitals that will pay me to go to school but the research makes these seem like urban legends...anyone in Texas know anything to help? I am looking for financial support along my journey to RN and maybe CRNA...any ideas?

Some hospitals will pay for some of your school if you commit to staying with them for a year or two. I went to an recruitment today and they even help you pay after you get your LVN to go on and get your RN.
How do I find those hospitals and programs?

The Baylor hospital system has a lot of different programs. They offer two day alteranative (TDA) jobs where you work every weekend and get paid full time, including benefits....which for students means you get tuition reimbursement.
At Baylor All Saints in Fort Worth there is a *very* generous endowment program that is providing funding for employees who are in nursing school but you have to be an employee at Baylor All Saints.

This sounds too good to be true..... 2 days a week???? Do you have any more details about the Baylor system? I never hear anything about them...(good or bad).
