Hi, hopefully I will will be attending Chamberlain in Atlanta in May or September. However, I'd like feedback on whether or not doing CNA/PCT is a good idea while in nursing school. Is anyone attending school and also working OR training for CNA/PCT??? I will take loans, but it will be my first time and I see that the cap is $6,250 for my credits earned/ per semester. I also wonder if most students need private loans? I don't like being blind sided, so when I go to FA I WILL LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED!

I'm working as a CNA and finishing up pre reqs for the nursing program at Triton. I was going to go to chamberlain in chicago but I wasn't accepted :-/ but when I was applying the admissions counselor was telling me it's not best to work while in their program because it's very intense. There was a nurse intern that worked with us but she worked maybe 4 shifts a month. I plan to continue working when I start the program in the spring but maybe cut down my hours if it gets too intense just so my foot in in the door once I finish the program. So it sorta depends on what you can handle
