Hi all,
I am new here and due to take the PAX-RN on August 23rd, about 2 weeks from now. I have been studying the Barlett & Jones study guide and think I have most of that stuff down, but when I take the pre-tests on the CD, I encounter a lot of material that wasn't even in the book such as half life, balancing chemical equations at equilibrium, etc. Can anyone fill me in on what extra info is pertinent to the test? I have never taken physics or any chemistry past basic biochemistry and I'm extremely nervous! Please help if you can.
Thanks,
Caitlin

Nothing that's not in the book. I took it in February and I did really well. I used the book as a refresher and I scored in the 80th percentile on my exam. Good luck on your exam you'll do great :-)

The study guide is pretty close to a the material on the exam just pay attention to the physics in the study guide as I had a lot of that on my exam. Study and study some more and you should be ok. I did really well scoring in the 94th percentile just by using the guide. Good luck!!
