Hello All,
I am curious to know whether anyone is a volunteer for this program or knows of anyone who is. PAVERS stands for Patient Advocate Volunteers in Emergency Rooms and is a competitive volunteer program at Bellevue Hospital in lower Manhattan. (27th and 1st Ave.)
I just interviewed for the program this past week and am awaiting notification of acceptances. Based on the interview and information session I attended, I feel that this is an excellent opportunity for someone like myself who is very interested in emergency medicine. This program combines patient advocacy/care and exposure to the everyday workings of the Emergency Department with research.
Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
