Nurses Professionalism

I quit in the middle of my shift leaving my pts with two other RN's, the DON and the medical Dr. No formal shift report was given. Is this considered pt abandonment?

Thanks for the concern but I won my case! And shortly after me leaving due to unsafe conditions a patient died and the nurse who took over my dept was blamed for it. If I had been there the blame would've been
On me so that not so smart move you referred to actually turned out to be the best move I could've made!

Do you know the situation? Did you even bother to ask? Because I'd hate to think a person could be so judgemental!!!

Do you mind providing more detail on the situation and reason you decided to leave?
It's difficult to give useful feedback not knowing the circumstances, but glad to hear it worked out for you.
